Ingrid’s Windows: A Review 7/20/23 Ingrid Ramos heads a small staff dedicated to meeting your window treatment needs. Because her staff is small, she gives personal attention to each project, start to finish. This makes a significant difference in the years after installation, as the customer lives with and enjoys the product. Ms. Ramos listens as you explain your décor ideas and needs. In 2021, I sought to replace floor-length double draperies in connected living and dining areas. I wanted beautiful fabrics that were subtle, not shouting for attention but harmonizing with my furniture and surroundings. I needed light control but not so much that the house became cave-like. Most importantly, I wanted to be able to move the panels back and forth easily. The drapes I then had provided no such hardware. I had to use an umbrella handle and brute force to open and close the panels. I re-enacted this struggle for Ms. Ramos, and she assured me she could supply each inner and outer panel, at the front triple window and the back slider, with rods I could easily manage. In the past two years that feature has proved a delight. No brute force required! Drapery selection was a creative collaboration that seemed easy because Ingrid Ramos knows her craft. She offers a wide selection of fabrics. She can advise on which styles, dimensions, and hardware will work best. The customer can make a selection without stress. And workmanship is first-rate. I was so impressed with my 2021 draperies that I turned to this firm again in mid-2023 for a much simpler project, an unlined one-way-draw curtain for a small guest bedroom. Ingrid Ramos brought the same dedication and skill to this project that she committed to the full-length draperies that set the interior design tone of my house.
